Saying hi from July!

Saying hi from July. Where has this year gone?! I’ve recently returned from the stunning island of Silhouette in the Seychelles, the trip that I never thought I would get to take. As it cancelled a number of times over the past two years, it was truly wonderful to be able to actually go. Even nicer that I got to share it with my mum. I enjoyed the time away to recharge & refresh in pure paradise, this is one the most beautiful spots on earth & my first long haul in over three years. Travel is definitely back & in serious demand, it’s clear to see in the airports both home & abroad. They are packed & I hope their issues iron out over the next few months, as we all slowly claim back our travel lives. There is nothing more rewarding than an adventure & it feels amazing to be able to fully explore once again (crosses her fingers & toes that this continues).

The first half of 2022 allowed us to return to Marrakech, nothing makes us happier than returning to the Red City. We feel most at home here, it was lovely to see many familiar faces & meet some new too! As you know I have started to offer Marrakech Services through Sostravel, from airport transfers to day trips & tours. I hope to add a few more options to this list soon. I have been thrilled with the response & happy to hear that the people taking our services were pleased with their experience. Long may this continue & please feel free to get in touch with me if you are thinking about taking a trip or have one booked. We would love to make your Marrakech travels magical.

Personally this year thus far has been a real rollercoaster, one I haven’t wanted to openly write or talk about as there are parts of our lives that we have to keep private. Adam & I started on a health & fitness journey in January to keep a positive mindset plus shift those excess lockdown (all 3) pounds, we succeeded & feel a million times better for it. We now have a much healthier lifestyle & enjoy yes ENJOY haha the daily exercise. Words I never thought would leave my mouth… Adam has ended his 20 year police career, our lives feel lighter & a lot more flexible. Who knows what the future holds, but I can promise plenty travel, many more adventures & you never know a new home. Watch this space, one things for sure it won’t be boring & it will be worth the wait.

I want to end with a quote I love ❤️

“Life has a funny way of working out just when you start to believe it never will”.

Stay safe out there & take those trips!

Loads of love, Sam xx 😘
