Imlil is a small village in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. It is 1,800 metres above sea level. A portrait of Imlil and the problems and prospects of Morocco’s mountain populations appeared in 1984 in the book by James A. Miller called Imlil and published by Westview Press.

 

Itinerary 

Departure from Marrakech at 9am, on to the magical site of Imlil. Imlil is a small beautiful Berber village known for it’s miraculous beauty and original landscapes. You will be sure to enjoy the dramatic contours of the mountains bordering the entrance to the large Moroccan Atlas. You will discover the charm of Imlil where the climate is temperate with a natural and wondrous landscape. In Imlil you will take a short hike for an hour and a half and admire the beautiful scenery and a Berber village. Finally you will take the road back to Marrakech in the afternoon.
